We are increasingly aware of the importance of recycling, reducing, reusing and composting. However, sometimes we need to know some hacks to get the most out of our fruits, vegetables, and even drinks and soda. Here we tell you how to give it a second life.
Use past or sour milk to remove rust from your cutlery. Place the milk in a large bowl, add the cutlery and let stand (about 15 minutes) and wash as you normally would.
Soft drink without bubbles
A good way not to waste soda that no longer has gas is to place it in the vases, the sugar will help the flowers get up and last a little longer.
In a wide tray, put the orange peels with a little spice, cloves, and anise. Then let dry for two nights and store in an airtight container. You can use it to add to your teas and strikeouts, it will last well for two weeks or more. Especially in times of cold, it is a good hack.
If, after making your juice, the peels were left over with a little of the bagasse, you can reuse them with a little salt to thoroughly clean your kitchen sink. Help to remove stains and bad smells.
Instead of throwing away the leftover peels of the potatoes, you can make crispy baked chips. In a large tray, place the peels (previously washed), olive oil, salt, pepper, a pinch of paprika and bake until golden brown. To add an extra touch, when you take them out of the oven, sprinkle Parmesan cheese, it will be your new favorite snack.
Carrot, celery and onion waste
Use all this for your chicken or beef broth, let it boil very well and strain to serve.
